An outstanding student of Cambrian Hall School, Dehradun, who scored above 90% in her 10th & 12th Board exams always dreamed of becoming a Software Engineer. But her father's unsteady income and her elder brother's educational loan made her feel that she will have to sacrifice her dream. After her 12th when she got selected in a prestigious college in Uttarakhand she came to GES for help. Through the support of some donors of GES her full course was sponsored.
In July 2016 she passed her final year and has been placed in "Viteos Market Capital City" as a trainee Programmer in Mumbai.May WAHEGURU jibe with her in her endeavor. Since her first salary she started donating a part of her Daswandh to GES and has pledged that she will donate for this cause throughout her life so that more children like her become assets for the Panth.

At a seminar commemorating 300 years of the guruship to Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji in 2008 a girl said “ I ponder as to the massive kirtandarbars being held , stalls providing a variety of dishes , spending heavy amounts on nagarkirtan across the country etc .To me this is essential, but is this true homage to Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji? On searching for the answer in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji itself the reply was no, anything done for selfish motives is not true homage .
