To spread this message (Mission 2040) the society President, S.Devender Singh has been travelling to different cities in India.
In one of the conference organised by Institute of Sikh Studies in Chandigarh in November 2015 where many societies from all over India participated , after listening to S.Devender Singh ji all of them unanimously resolved to work for this mission, ”Mission 2040”.
In a Conference organised by Bibek Trust ,Sikh Helping Sikh and Save Our Sikh in Amritsar , Mission 2040 was discussed by the delegates.
In Nov 2016 during a conference organised by Chief Khalsa Deewan in Amritsar mission 2040 was put forward to delegates from India and abroad .
Mission 2040 is only possible if every individual, city, society & gurdwara become part of this mission.
At a seminar commemorating 300 years of the guruship to Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji in 2008 a girl said “ I ponder as to the massive kirtandarbars being held , stalls providing a variety of dishes , spending heavy amounts on nagarkirtan across the country etc .To me this is essential, but is this true homage to Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji? On searching for the answer in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji itself the reply was no, anything done for selfish motives is not true homage .
